Sanctus Wedding Photo- Why I rebranded? As a Traditional Catholic Photographer.

Why Did I Rebrand to Sanctus Wedding Photo?

This rebrand has been a long time coming. From the very beginning, I knew that building this business around my name wasn’t the best foundation for it to grow. The truth is, this work has never truly been about me. It has always been about something — or rather, Someone — much greater.

This business exists for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the reason I go out and capture sacred, beautiful wedding days. Every moment, every image, every quiet joy I witness through my lens is for Him.

God has always been the source and the summit of this work. He leads it, sustains it, and shapes it to bear the fruit He deems necessary. My role is simply to surrender to His will — to trust His timing and direction. That’s why Sanctus Wedding Photo felt like the perfect name: it reflects the heart of the mission and the One who breathes life into it.

Why “Sanctus”?

During the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, after the Preface, the priest bows his head, the bells are rung, and we fall to our knees. Together we say:

“Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua: Hosanna in excelsis. Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini: Hosanna in excelsis.”

In English:“Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Your Glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.”

These words have become deeply personal and profound to me. My husband and I began attending the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) before we were married, and now, nearly four years into worshipping in the Latin Rite, I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite aspects of our faith.

The reverence. The beauty. The holy fear and awe of knowing we are approaching Calvary — that soon, our Lord will be lifted onto the Cross to die for us and for our sins. It's all so real, so tangible in the TLM.

And I can’t think of a more powerful reflection of Catholic marriage than this moment in the Mass. Just like in marriage, we are called to continually lay down our lives. We are called to sacrifice, to surrender, to follow, and to fall to our knees in humility. We cry out to our Lord, over and over, that we may be made holy — that we may one day see His beautiful face in Heaven. God willing, we will be found worthy of that promise.
